Well, nuts! I wish I'd seen this yesterday. I used an entire can of spray paint to paint two halogen lamps ... not a lot of surface to cover ... and had to buy another can today to do a second coat. Thanks to you, it will be much better than the first. Awesome advice! :)
Andrea, that actually IS very helpful! Now I understand why my spray-painting attempts in the past were rather unsuccessful (wasted paint + finger cramps, anyone?!?!). I suspect spray-painting the way you've shown in the video probably helps lower the risk of the paint running, yes?

great to see it done right. Short bursts, not holding my finger down. Got it! Thanks. I'm pinning this. expect lots of visits!!
Thanks! You have no idea how much spray paint I've been wasting:) Pinning this one.
I am amazed by the video. The visual really makes the point and yes, I have been doing it wrong all along! :)
Thank you for joining me at Home Sweet Home!

Smart Hubby! Thanks for sharing :o)
Thanks for sharing your spray painting tip!
Just clicked on this from Lil Luna's post today. And I am so glad I did!!! This was so helpful! I have a few spray paint projects coming up, and I have always been doing it the wrong way. I feel so educated now. Thanks to your husband, and you!
Aaaand, I've been meaning to write to you, and say thanks for your sweet comment. I'll reply to that one separately :) xoxo
You just saved me TONS of cans of spray paint. I thank you and so does my wallet ;)
From TT&J party. This is so helpful! I was not so much a paint waster as a heavy handed spray painter that caused runs and drips in the project. Love love this!
In many cases Semiconductor Coating are applied to improve surface properties of the substrate, such as appearance, adhesion, wetability, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and scratch resistance.
I truly like to reading your post. Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a nice information.
