Burlap Cones and Paper Bouquet

BurlapFabric.com is a great resource for all things burlap!
(great prices too!)
I am working on some other projects as well I will be posting all month.. and into the next :)
Check out some other Burlap Projects I have already done.

I thought some paper bouquets would be pretty around my house, or to give as gifts, so I made one.
This one turned out better than I imagined in my head.
I made the cone shape with some card stock, then I wrapped it with 4in burlap that I got from BurlapFabric.com

Making the flowers was so fun, I just got to play around with different textures.. and my glue gun!
I used pages from old books, paper doilies, ribbon and vintage typography that I printed off from The Graphics Fairy.

For this cone, I decided to go very simple...it probably wont stay that way :)... Anyway I draped it in a decorative ribbon, and put some feathers inside it. I think it's VERY shabby chic. I just love mixing textures!
