Miracle-Gro Expand 'n Gro and Planting Tips

This post brought to you by Scotts®. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am SO excited to get started on my yard this year! It is our first spring in our new house, and I am already drawing up plans of what I want to do... I hope the hubs knows he WILL be building me a potting bench one of these next few weekends.
{are you reading this honey? Because I am NOT kidding}

Anyway, on that note, I found out that Miracle-Gro®  wanted me to write a review on a new product for them, and since I have always been a Miracle-Gro user, I was more than happy to!

It kick started me to get working on my yard!

I took a little jaunt to my local greenhouse for inspiration....

I WANT to do this in my yard with a bike and an old door! I LOVE it,  it matches my house and my style PERFECTLY! Oh and don't forget the cute "plant lady".

Luckily I have some old chairs, instead of throwing them out, I will make a cute planter! LOVE this!
Needless to say, I was inspired! I even ordered a few things that they didn't have in just yet.
I have heard SO many great things about the new Miracle-Gro Expand 'n Gro™ Planting Mix that I can't wait to try it!
  • Expand 'n Gro™ holds water and feeds better than native soil {basic potting and garden soil}
  • Expand 'n Gro™ provides your plants with what they need, when they need it, giving you Miracle-Gro results like never before.
  • Significantly improves soil for multiple years!
  • You'll get big, beautiful plants and up to 3x the Flowers & Vegetables.
Like I said, I have always LOVED Miracle-Gro, so I can't wait to use this in my pots, my flower beds and my garden!

Do YOU want to try it? Leave me a comment about why, and how you want to use it, and I will have Scott's send you a sample! How GREAT is that!!!

{On a side Note here are A few Tips for Planting in the Shade
  • Many Plants thrive in the shade.
  • Be water wise, use mulch, and decrease the amount of water you put on your plants.
  • Always remember to check soil frequently, shady areas tend to get too much water which will cause the roots to rot and plants to die.
  • Most broad-leafed evergreens flourish in shade because they are protected from the winter wind and sun.
  • If you want a shade loving plant in a sunny spot just plant a sun/heat tolerant plant next to it, creating shade for your shade lover.
